Senior Pastor - Dr. Jerry Neff

Dr. Jerry Neff was appointed as Senior Pastor of FUMC Conroe in June of 2008.

Prior to being assigned to Conroe, Dr. Neff served as the District Superintendent of the North District (Longview/Texarkana), Pastor at A&M in College Station, FUMC Jasper, FUMC Crockett, FUMC Kirbyville, and FUMC LaPorte.

Dr. Neff has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Masters of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry from Southern Methodist University.

He has served small membership churches and large membership churches in over 27 years as an ordained United Methodist pastor.

He brings excitement and joy to his ministry here in Conroe. He loves to meet people of every age and share God’s message of love, grace, and forgiveness with them.

He is married to Laura Owens Neff. They have been married over 30 years and they have three sons: Matthew, Patrick and Andrew.
