Rock Solid

“Everyone then who hears these words and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock.” Matthew 7:24-25

The children are invited on a faith experience. It is during this time that they can come to a better understanding of God and what God calls them to do and be.

Third Grade Bible Academy

Children receive a copy of The NSRV Children’s Bible as a gift from the church family. Children who are not present at the Third Grade Bible Presentation will receive their Bible in class. A lot of emphasis is placed on how to use their Bibles along with how to find information in their bibles. During the year the third graders compete in a “Bible Bowl“ of knowledge against the 4th and 5th graders. Room 108

Sixth Grade

Confirmation is not the beginning or the end of their faith journey. Confirmation is about making disciples. The Sixth graders meet in Room 207 in the Upper Room Confirmation events begin February 25 with Confirmation Sunday being May 20, 2012.
